On July 05, 2012, Christian Gerth has successfully defneded his PhD theses titled "Change Management for Business Process Models". We congratulate Mr. Gerth on his achievement!

The current issue 8.2012 of the German JavaMagazin contains an article about "Semantic Content Management with Apache Stanbol". With Fabian Christ and Benjamin Nagel two of the four authors are part of this research group. The article describes how to use Apache Stanbol for enhancing unstructured content with annotations that give machines a better understanding of the content in terms of its semantics.The article was written as part of the work on the Interactice Knoweldge Stack (IKS) research project.
